Blessing Bags

Have you ever driven past someone in need and wondered what you could do to help? Well, we will be collecting donation items over the next few weeks of different basic items that we will put together into "Blessing Bags" that you can give out to encourage them.

DONATIONS: Beginning Sunday, October 26, and November 2 & 9, there will be a large “Blessing Bags” bin for donations near the front entrance (off the parking lot). 

Clothing:
Men’s gloves, men’s hat, men’s scarf, or men’s socks, or a drawstring backpack to put donated items inside

Food/Water Bottles:
Applesauce, fruit cups, granola bars, canned tuna, water bottles, or ziploc bags (gallon size) to put donated items inside

Personal Hygiene Items:
Facial tissue, hand sanitizer, lip balm, bar soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, or washcloth

Then, Sunday, November 16th in the MPR, everyone is welcome to help us put together the "Blessing Bags" immediately following the worship service from Noon - 1 p.m. in the MPR. We have a goal this year of making 100 bags. You will be able to "make and take" bags with you as you leave.
