Instead of having church leaders and parents both trying to accomplish the same goal individually, we want to align these two critical influences to have maximum impact in the life of a child.
We want to leverage the natural influence of parents and partner with them to help them raise Godly children. Our goal is to design tools that help parents fight for their child’s heart and help them keep the end in mind. This is because we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church.
Our staff recognizes that we cannot do it without you, the parent!
Here are a few things parents can do to help us partner with them:
- Bring your kids to SPCBI. Be sure to help them attend a consistent hour, with the same group of friends and led by the same leader every week.
- Talk about it every week at home. Remember, no one can have more influence on your child’s faith than you can as a parent. We will provide weekly ‘Parent Tools’ to make the most of every teachable moment.
- Attend parent meetings to gain instruction on how to use resources and to strengthen alignment between home and church.
- Participate in family events to learn, grow and have fun together.
