(2 Peter 1:1 – 11) Scripture teaches that true believers in Christ should be growing in their relationship with Him. That growth, however, cannot simply be assumed or automatic. Peter orients our expectations regarding discipleship by giving us the proper mindset, method, and motivation for pursuing growth in Christ. By incorporating these in our lives, we can have great assurance of our progress to the glory of God!

Because summer often engenders sporadic opportunity for worship for many along with occasional guest speakers, this “Unseries” will not have a consistent biblical book or overarching theme to the messages. Rather Pastor Marty is choosing passages of Scripture that have been especially meaningful for him over the years, and the expectation is that guest speakers will take a similar approach.
