MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Childcare Volunteers Needed

MOPS is in need of volunteers to help take care of young children of MOPS moms during meetings on two Wednesday mornings per month from September through May. If you’re interested or have questions, please email us at

Praise and Prayer Night - Tuesday, August 27, 7 p.m.

On April 17, Pastor Matt of St. Andrews Lutheran Church gave South Park Church’s Ellen Totten, in desperate need of a live liver donation, a portion of his liver. You are invited on Tuesday, August 27 at 7 p.m. to come and learn how Pastor Matt and Ellen were matched and to give praise to God for his provision for the success of the transplant. This evening will also be devoted as a time of prayer for all those going back to school.

THRIVE Women's Ministry New Series: Raised Together: A Study of Colossians 

Join THRIVE beginning on Thursday, September 12, 7-9 p.m. or Friday, September 13, 9:15-11:15 a.m. for an 8-week study in the book of Colossians! The cost is $15 which covers a discussion guide and the video teaching for each week. Childcare: Available on Thursday mornings for $10/child ($30 family max). Register below!

Q & A Sessions

To promote healthy communication, we will be holding a series of Question & Answer sessions. Pastors and Elders will be present to field questions about staff changes, our position on social issues, direction of the church, and anything else you may want to ask. We hope you’ll plan to participate in at least one of the following sessions: 

  • Sunday, Sept. 8 at noon (Fellowship Hall) 
  • Sunday, Sept. 15 at noon (Fellowship Hall) 
  • Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 7-9 p.m. (Sanctuary)
