Encouragement
Cards are sent to show support and love to those who are
hospitalized, home-bound, or in long-term care. Volunteers
provide personal contact via telephone to those who are
temporarily "side-lined."
Meals
Meals are provided in cases of special needs,
hospitalization, death of a family member, new moms, etc.
Casseroles and dessert receptions are provided for funeral
receptions at the church.
Physical Needs
Rides are provided to or from activities such as a doctor's
appointment, medical treatments, food shopping, or church
functions. Child care is provided for some
church-sponsored activities.
Prayer
Prayer requests are placed on our confidential prayer chain
and in our weekly prayer guide. Members are also available
to pray with you following worship services on the first Sunday
of each month, at Wednesday evening prayer meetings (7:00-8:00
p.m.), and at the beginning of Church Life Board meetings each
month.
Visitation
Visits by pastors and church members are provided for those
who are homebound or facing surgery or other difficult
circumstances.
