South Park Church Women’s Ministry exists to provide
opportunities for women to be nurtured in their relationships
with God and each other.

Activities and Events
Knitting Club – Ongoing; Mondays, 7-9pm
Do you knit? Would you like to learn? There is a
group of women of all ages meeting to do handiwork of all types.
The group meets every Monday at Panera Bread in Des Plaines
(1518 Market Street) from 7-9pm for coffee, good conversation,
and knitting, etc.
Fall Gatherings -
various homes throughout Chicagoland - Friday, October 24
This is an intergenerational potluck dinner. It's a
great way to get to know other women at South Park Church.
Women gather in host homes for a wonderful dinner and enjoy
fellowship with other women of all ages. It's a great
opportunity to share and receive wisdom and to make and renew
friendships.
Women's Evening Studies - Fall: Thursdays, Oct.
9-Nov. 3; Winter: Thursdays, Jan-Mar; Summer: Wednesdays, June
24-July 29
You will have an opportunity to delve into the Bible with
other women, at all different stages of their walk with Jesus.
You'll be encouraged to learn about Jesus through probing
homework, stimulating small group discussion, and inspirational
video lectures.
Women's Breakfast - Saturday, February 28
Our annual winter breakfast is a welcome event each year,
bringing women of all generations together for a great time of
fellowship, worship, inspirational speakers, a fabulous
breakfast and a great opportunity to get away for a morning of
fun energy and spiritual renewal. This event is a highlight for
many women and a great event to invite a friend to.
Faith and Fitness - Starting January 2009
Are faith and fitness related? Come to our weekly
class and exercise your body and your faith.
Spring Retreat - Friday, April 17-Sunday, April 19
