South Park Church exists to walk with God, connect as family and love people in Jesus name

The circular icon is a visual representation of our mission statement. Imagine an arrow appearing where the line begins in the lower right of the circle. This represents the entry point of someone’s relationship with God. The movement then goes through the following motions: • The arrow moves up, walking with God • The arrow circles around, connecting as family • The arrow moves beyond the circle, loving people in Jesus name

• Love: The goal of all ministry is loving as Jesus loved (Matthew 22:36-40; John 15:9; 1 Corinthians 13:1-7).

• Prayer: Our relationship with God is sustained through prayer. (Luke 11:1-13; Ephesians 3:14-21; James 5:13-18).

• Church as Family: A healthy local church functions as a committed and supportive family (Matthew 12:48-50; Ephesians 2:19; 1 John 2:9-11).

• Reconciliation: Jesus, by his death and resurrection, reconciles us to God through faith. In turn, we are called to share that Good News with others (Matthew 28:16-20; 2 Corinthians 5:11-21; Colossians 1:19-23).

The following Commitments are designed to help the people who attend our church relate to one another in a way that honors God and promotes authentic relationships. These Commitments cover important relational issues, such as peacemaking and reconciliation, marriage and divorce, confidentiality, and mutual accountability.
