Milestones

Milestones are the landmark developments we experience throughout our lives. They are our firsts. They include our first steps, first driver’s license, and first job. They also include our firsts of faith: trusting Christ, baptism, and discovering our unique gifts and calling. Milestones provide a map of spiritual growth with the Bible as the compass for navigation.

When we recognize, seize, and celebrate milestones, people tend to grow into maturity and fulfill their God-given calling. When milestones are missed, we can get stuck resulting in frustration and unfulfilled potential.
