(Ministry to Birth - 5th Grade)

At SPC Kids,  children are welcomed at Kids Corner (birth-KG),  Elementary (1st-3rd grades) or Preteen (4th - 5th grades) where they experience God's love for them and learn God's word and how to share it to the world in fun, age-specific environments!

Ways to Serve

• Buddy - Every child deserves a place to belong and experience God’s love in a way that fits their unique needs. As an SPC Kids Buddy, you’ll be paired with a child who benefits from extra support—whether that’s with focus, transitions, or sensory needs—offering one-on-one encouragement and friendship during their Sunday morning experience. With your care and consistency, you’ll help make church a welcoming, joy-filled place where every child can grow in faith and confidence.
• Greeters – Be the friendly face that welcomes families and sets the tone for a safe and loving environment. A simple smile can make all the difference!
• Nursery Volunteers – Give our littlest ones their first experience of God’s love through play, songs, cuddles, and laughter. (Bonus: baby giggles included!)
• Storytellers – Bring the Bible to life with drama, music, props, and art! Using pre-made curriculum, you’ll help inspire wonder and faith in young hearts.
• Small Group Leaders – Build relationships with a consistent group of kids, lead meaningful discussions, and create space for faith to take root through laughter, curiosity, and care. 
• Security Team – Provide an extra layer of safety and reassurance while also offering a warm welcome to families as they enter a loving, protected environment.
• Administrative Volunteers – Love organizing and helping behind the scenes? Support our ministry by prepping lesson supplies, making copies, sorting materials, and more—your work makes everything possible!
• Vacation Bible School - Various Positions Available!  Serve the week of July 27- 30, 2026 from 8:00a- 1 pm (Volunteer hours)  (Program hours are 9-Noon).

Kids Corner (Birth -Kindergarten) – Sundays 9 AM

First Wednesdays – Wednesday once a month, Oct - May 5 - 6:30  PM
Vacation Bible School  – July 27 - 30, 8 am - 1 pm
