How did you become a Christian?
I initially came to Christ as a 16-year-old through a Son City event after the ministry had moved to Palatine in the late ‘70s. I had a personal “revival” in the Fall of 2000 through the Indiana Dunes Great Banquet where I felt God’s love and affection for me in a tangible way like nothing I had never experienced before.

How long have you been at SPC?

My family and I have been attending South Park Church since1995, 26 years.

Why are you drawn to the role of Elder?
It’s not so much I am drawn to the role, but I am humbled and honored to be able to serve where God called me 9 years ago. I see God manifest Himself in tangible ways through the servants and ministers of South Park Church which spurs me on to represent SPC well.

What is your favorite Bible verse or story?
Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Where are you involved through SPC?

Through the years I have served in Children’s, VBS, High School, leading Small Groups, IronMen, CBS and the Great Banquet. My wife and I have a heart for marriages and provide mostly premarital mentoring and hope to offer more marriage enrichment minisries

What is a fun fact about you?

Well, there’s a handful of folks around SPC that call me “one tee” since my first name seems to be missing a “t” or so I am told. I have also been to 4 Super Bowls; 14, 17, 21 & 22. Email
