How did you become a Christian?
My wife suggested we attend a Focus on the Family marriage conference. I didn’t want to go but the HS intervened and when I opened my mouth to say “no”, “good idea” came out instead. During the weekend, my eyes were opened and my heart softened. I accepted Christ as my lord and savior and began the process of becoming a Godly man and a much better husband and father.

How long have you been at SPC?
About 15 years.

Why are you drawn to the role of Trustee Chair?
It feels like I can contribute to the next chapter of the SPC story by using my experience managing volunteer organizations and mentoring future leaders. God has important plans for our church and I am excited to be a part of the team executing them.

What is your favorite Bible verse or story?
Joshua 24:15 - "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."

Where are you involved through SPC?
Iron Men, Welcome Team, Wonderland, CBS, Safe Families

What is a fun fact about you?
My wife Cindy and I love camping. When our kids were young, we camped a lot and really enjoyed it. Recently we purchased a little teardrop camper and are looking forward to exploring national parks and other interesting places with family and friends.
