Eric Flood
Senior Pastor
Eric enjoys serving as the primary teacher, leader, and shepherd.  He served as a church planter in Ohio before coming to South Park Church in 2004 as the Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries.  He transitioned to the Senior Pastor role in 2009.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministries from Taylor University and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  Eric is an avid reader and runner having completed the 2008 Boston Marathon.  He loves to visit ethnic restaurants with his wife Becky and to have adventures with his two daughters.

R.A. Atanus
Executive Director
R.A. recently joined our church staff although he has been a part of our family for many years.  R.A. spent many years in the IT industry working in marketing, engineering/development, and customer service roles.  His desire to serve and be used by God led him to his current position with our team.  He enjoys being around people and most importantly his family.

Bob Anderson
Pastor of Children's and Youth Ministries
Bob has been a youth pastor since 1993.  He simply loves working with teens and helping them grow into mature believers seeking to serve our God all over the world.  Bob loves to write the sermons for the Sr. Pastor and be as creative as possible when it comes to skits, games and teaching.  Bob is a big fan of NASCAR (#24) and doesn't mind getting made fun of for it.  Bob loves to read a good book that will help him mature as a follower of Jesus. Bob and his wife Heather have two daughters, Tori and Hailey.

  Christopher Clifton

Director of Worship and Creative Arts
Chris grew up in an Amish community near Ft. Wayne, Indiana and volunteered in ministry at Grabill Missionary Church. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Anderson Universityand a Master’s of Music Degree from Ball State University. In 1997, Chris followed God’s call to help plant a new church near West Palm Beach, Florida which grew to nearly 800 people. For the last 8 months, Chris has served as a keyboardist and a worship leader at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In 200, Chris married Mindy, a native Floridian. They have two young children, Landon and Jeni. The Clifton’s are Disney fanatics, love adventure, discovering new things and are excited to join the South Park Church family and can’t wait to see what God has in store!
   
Steven Kaminsky
Director of Media Ministries
Steve is in charge of blending technology with ministry as our Director of Media Ministries. Previously, he worked as a roadie with Rat Sound as a touring Engineer.  He got to work with bands and tours like Jimmy Eat World, The Vans Warped Tour and many others.  Steve holds a degree in Live Sound Production from Full Sail University.  He is currently working on his Bachelors in Christian Ministry at Trinity International University.  Steve loves to hunt, mix live sound and ride motorcycles.  He and his wife Deborah love serving God here at SPC.

Jeannine Woerz
Director of Care Ministry / Office Manager
Jeannine manages the care needs of individuals and families in our church family that are experiencing a season of illness or crisis.  She also serves as the manager for the main office.  Her previous career was in banking and marketing where she was a corporate trainer in business development and customer service for 18 years.  She and her husband Glenn also owned and operated a marketing consulting firm for 5 years before moving from California to Park Ridge in 2000.  Glenn and Jeannine have a blended family of 5 children and 5 grandbuddies.  Her hobbies are cooking, reading, writing, local travel and a drama sketch here and there.  She and her family have been actively serving at SPC for 10 years and LOVE it!

Justin Hwang
Interim Director of Worship Ministries
Justin Hwang works together with the musicians of the community.  He strives to encourage everyone to declare God's worth in song and to encounter His presence in a refreshing, faith-building way on Sunday mornings.  Justin is currently wrapping up a degree in Voice with a minor in Bible from Moody Bible Institute.  Justin likes hiking, guitar gear, theology, and sriracha sauce.

Iris Andersson
Director of Children's Ministry
Iris gets to combine her passion for children and God in what she calls "the best job in the world!" She loves organizing events, programs and classes for children, and partnering with parents to raise kids that will know and love the Lord.  Iris previously enjoyed a career in commodities and banking, working in the United States and Germany.  Iris enjoys reading, hiking and playing board games.

Deborah Kaminsky
Associate Director of Youth Ministries
Deborah works alongside Youth Pastor Bob Anderson in formulating teaching and small group material for SPC youth activities such as WORD, JAM and 1:20.  She loves applying the truth of God's word into current teen topics.  Her passion to travel has allowed her to see God's work in 15 different countries, which fuels her excitement for youth missions. It's known throughout the youth group that she is not afraid to bring it to the stage with some mean karaoke.  Deborah received her B.A. in Religious Studies at Florida State University and worked with Navigators Collegiate Ministry prior to serving at South Park. She is married to the cute Media Director.

Renee Gerstmayr
Executive Administrator
Renee Gerstmayr is responsible for providing administration and coordination of resources to achieve the church's mission.  Renee has experience in the educational system where she directed middle school band and taught trumpet privately.  Renee holds a degree in Music Education from Indiana University and enjoys using administrative and organizational aspects of her education in her current position.  Renee plays trumpet in the Des Plaines Community Concert band, loves dating her husband Bernie, and spending time with their two daughters.  Renee and her family love worshipping God and being part of the family here at SPC.

Amber Medel
Creative Communications Coordinator
Amber is in charge of designing and editing written content for many SPC publications. This includes the Ties newsletter, brochures, sermon series logos and graphics, postcards promoting special events, newspaper advertising, posters, flyers, the website, and more. Amber has a B.A. in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University, where she developed her design and communications skills.  Before working at SPC, she spent 7 years writing, editing, designing and managing marketing for a consulting firm.  Amber spends her free time working on personal creative projects, singing, chasing after her toddler, Elijah, and spending time with her husband, Will.

Teresa Sweitzer
Children's Ministry Assistant
Teresa helps assist the Children's Ministry Director with planning, organizing and implementing all the needs of the children's ministry.  Her love for children and passion are evident in her work.  She has over 15 years of customer service support and experience.  She is our "behind the scenes, need help, can't find it" go to person.  She enjoys gardening, taking long walks with her girls and spending time with her husband Mike.

Stephanie Pankau
Youth Ministry Assistant
Stephanie works in helping to create the look and feel of the youth ministry at South Park Church.  She has a degree in Media Communications from Bethel University and has previously worked as a graphic designer at other churches.  She loves working with teens and using her graphic design skills to glorify God.

Becky Flood
Receptionist
Becky provides a welcoming smile and voice to those who stop in or call the church office. She also provides clerical support to the upstairs office staff.  Becky is part of the Women's Ministry Team overseeing Bible Studies.  Becky has a bachelor's degree in Communication/Organizational Leadership from Trinity International University.  Before working at SPC, Becky was a full-time homemaker.  She enjoys baking, working on crafts, and connecting with friends over a cup of tea.  She feels blessed to be a pastor's wife and serve at SPC.
